Lift. Lounge. Repeat.
Ask a frequent traveler what actually makes or breaks a hotel stay — outside of the room itself — and two answers keep coming back: the gym and the bar. We know because we literally asked — around 150 travelers weighed in, and they didn't just want a gym to exist. They wanted the equipment to work.
Every hotel says it has both. A "fitness center" can mean a proper floor with racks and heavy dumbbells — or two treadmills in a converted closet. A "lobby bar" can be somewhere you'd happily close a deal, or a sad counter that shuts at nine. The big booking sites won't tell you which one you're walking into. Their star ratings average everything into mush, and their reviews bury the two answers you need under five paragraphs about thread counts.
Curls & Cocktails does one thing: it scores every hotel on the things that decide your trip.
Curls & Cocktails was built by Greg Moran, a traveler who got tired of gambling on hotel "fitness centers" and lobby bars — and figured the fix was simple: let travelers score the two things that matter, and put both numbers on every search result.
